Smithsonian 410 and belgium 30-30
I need help Identifying and assessing a value to an antique gun I have.It is a double barrel 410, hamerless, and has smithsonian on the side of it. It resembles a lc smith. anyone got any ideas about this gun,
The other gun I have is a 30-30 double barrel...looks to be belgium made with gold enlays on the barrel.I will try to get pictues shortly on both guns but anyone got any ideas on these guns.Thanks BRETT

Some models of the Smithsonian were made by Crescent in Norwich, CT. This would put your shotgun in the "Hardware Store" gun category.
Any other markings on it?0 -

an add'd note..ON the 30-30 "original Diana" is in gold on top of the barrels and near the hammers is the image of a man..in gold as well.

Brett.....if your "Smithsonian" was made by Crescent (apparently some were, and some weren't) it was originally an inexpensive, but decent quality, shotgun.
Hardware Store Guns have little collector value. Assuming it's in good working order, it's worth about $50 to $150, depending on condition.
I have no idea about the .30-30.0 -
