pre-ban lower with post ban upper M4
Is it legal to put together a pre-ban lower with adjustable buttstock and add a post ban upper to it? I see a lot of pre ban lowers for sale and was wondering how that would affect me, legally, if I add it to my post ban upper. Another words can I own it.

Technically the pre-ban lower is only pre-ban if it was assembled in to a full rifle before the ban. Your post ban upper is fine but the sliding stock would not be legal, unless the receiver was fully built or sold as a complete kit before the ban. Now all of this should change if/when the ban sunsets.
