TROUBLE REMOVING LINK PIN ON WIN 1894
I HAVE A 1894 WIN FROM 1902 AND I ASSUME IT HAS A LINK PIN
THAT HOLDS THE LEVER INTO THE BOLT...I REMOVED THE SCREW AND
TRIED TO PUNCH OUT THE PIN BUT IT WILL NOT MOVE...IT APPEARS TO
LINE UP WITH THE HOLE FINE SO I DON'T THINK THE BARREL HAS BEEN
SET BACK. JUST HOW HARD CAN I WHACK THE PUNCH BEFORE I WOULD
DAMAGE SOMETHING...ANY OTHER IDEAS..

I have had these "stick" before. Rather than try to simply drive it out, oil it well, let set overnight and then try driving the pin IN. Do not strike overly hard. Then try driving the pin out. It has worked for me every time so far. RJSnow 0 -

it worked like a charm...
