Game Callers
I'm thinking about getting a game caller. I had one years ago that operated on 12 or 14 D batteries which was a major pain. What all options do they have nowadays as far as the type of power the caller operates on in the field? Also, are the johnny stewart models top of the line?
thanks in advance.

In Ohio I used a cheap discount store tape deck for coyote, it did fine. Wired it up so that it would run off a 12v jump box, and would run almost all night. Had a friend that used a modfied tape player with a spreacker for a CB, and it worked good also. Always had best luck with a screaming rabbit call. 0 -
I use a johnny stewart 612 caller, have for years [cassette type],.Have great results with crows, foxes, coyottes, they now make digital types which ive never used.Dont know if johnny stewart is top of line or not but they,ve been around almost as long as i have![:D]
