CZ 75 16 round mags?
I bought a CZ 75 new from a local dealer. Came with one 16 round mag. I have seen plenty of 15 round mags, but no 16. Why? Where can I get the 16 rounders?

Is the floor plate on the magazine stepped? There are no 16 round factory mags that I have ever seen or heard of. 10, 15 and 25's are factory. Factory 15's have a 2 stepped floor plate. aftermarkets don't. there are some unscrupulous sellers on here and other places pawning off junk western mags as "factory", these will hold 16, but are only really only 15 round mags. some EAA witnesses came with 16 and did IMI guns.

Do a little minor surgery on the bottom of your follower...you'll probably be able to get 16 in. 0 -
You can actually get 18 in them if you really go nuts on the follower, but at the price of reliability, rounds can get below the follower in the spring which makes a mess. I have 1 modified for 18 just in case there is a stage which takes 18-19 rounds.

If you can't get him with the first 15, I don't think that 16th is gonna do you much good.

This was a brand spanking new pistol, and the one and only mag that it came with has several witness holes, the last having a "16" by it, and it certainly takes 16. I believe that the follower is stepped, but I don't have it in front of me.

The 40 S&W race guns came with 16 round mags, is yours a 40? is it single action only?
