What does "drop free" mean? Also are "factory Demo" mags non-functioning training mags?

  are there any mags made for the Mossberg 185 D and 190 (in 20 and 16 ga. respectively) larger than the 2 round factory boxes?

  A drop free mag requires no assist to remove it from the gun...it falls away from the frame.I can only assume that Demo mags are just used, yet fully functional.
