Stevens 311 ???

I have all the parts to a Stevens 311 except the barrels which were destroyed in a unfortunate incident. It was orig. a 12 ga but I have been told 16 ga barrels will fit the reciever. anyone know??

  I don't know about 16 ga bbls fitting a 12 ga frame, but if you watch the various auction sites, you can pick up a set of bsrrels worth the money. Most take some fitting.
