FIE Black Power Pistol
OK, experts, have another gun I can't find in my books.
On the bottom of the grip there is FIE ITALY, but I cant find this gun listed in the BB or my Schwing book. The serial number is 8951 stamped on the left side of the barrel and on the bottom of the grip. On the right hand side of the barrel it say, "BLACK POWDER ONLY". There are a couple of proof marks; one has a star with a circle around it and PN below it on the barrel and cylinder. The other mark is a star with a circle around it over a another symbol enclosed with a rectangle. It is a six-shooter in the 40 cal range.

What you have is an Italian made copy of an 1858 remington 44 caliber revolver. Value $75-125. If the frame was steel it wopuld be worth more.
