Throw in a vote for Shooters Choice also but don't use it near the new Cherry dining room table (don't ask).

If it's really bad in a spot I don't want to dis-assemble, I hit it with a new quick shot of break-parts cleaner, then wipe it down with Hoppes. Then lightly oil.

If you put *any* value on your time, go with Blue Wonder (1st choice) or Butch's Bore Shine (2nd choice) for cleaning your barrels. Neither of them "inexpensive," but then you don't need to use much while they do a faster and more thorough job than anything else I've tried.

Like Teak said, Blue Wonder first choice, Butch's second choice.

The only reason I didn't list Blue Wonder as my 1st choice is because 'inexpensive' was listed as a criteria.
