S&W 617 K-22 Masterpiece
They had one of these at the local shop for sale. 6" bbl., full underlug, used, nice shape. The more I think about it, the more I want to go back and get it. Anyone have any exp w/ these? What's a good price for one in good shape?

Marcus,,, The 617 K-22 in excellent cond is worth about $325.00.
Brand new, up to $400.00.
I have a blue steel model 17 6 shot, and a 617-2 plus with the 10 shot cylinder. They are both very nice guns, fun to shoot and accurate.
If you get a reasonable deal, you will not be sorry.

Super pistol. My 6" is capable of one large hole from a rest as long as I do my part right.
In top shape I wouldn't go over $375 at a shop as they sell on GB for $300-350 w/ $15-25 shipping, and around my part of the country I see them at gun shows for $350 and under.
Had one w/ a 8 and 3/8 inch barrel that was a real sweethart, but I got the hots for a Model 41 and it went as part of the deal. Still not sure who got the better part of that one. The 41 is nice, actually very nice, but there was just somthing about the revolver that I miss.
