HK P 2000
Im thinking to buy one of these, went to the gun shop and handle one of this and this is a sweet gun but the triger pull is tooo heavy (11LB claim) I ask the guy there and also went to the HK site and it says there that can be adjusted to 5.5 LB but it says only certifided HK armorer can do the job and the guys at the gun shop said to send it to HK wich will cost an arm and a leg so does anyone if I have to send it back to HK or does anyone knows a HK armorer in INDIANAPOLIS??

My advise would be to think again. H&K's customer service stinks. I have a 3 year old USP 40 that functioned flawlessly for 5,000 rounds and then started stovepiping and jamming on the last round in the magazine ONLY. I sent it to them twice at about $26.00 a visit(one of which I admit they did replace a broken extractor which I didn't cause at no charge). To date the pistol is still problematic despite new magazines which is a common cause of my symptoms. They instead sugested that I might be failing to keep my wrist locked. I argued that seeing as the previous 5k were fine perhaps the issue was mechanical but got nowhere. They seem to have little intrest in residencial suctomers so I would look elsewhere. If you want the sifferent grip spacers in a polymer check out S&W or the highly rated Springfields or even SIG.
I would love to recommend the H&K but frankly they are the worst manufaturere that I own a product from and I own quite a few. I would never buy an HK handgun again and I only wish I could unload this one for even half of what I paid.

Well i havent had to deal with the service line of hk, but i feel that they still make some of the best weapons out there. They are pricey and probably expensive to repair. You should look up an owners manual for the p 2000 online and read through it before picking up the gun. The main reason is that you can see what the manual says about adjusting the trigger and it will tell you if you can do it or if you have to have someone elso do it.[V]
