Hey Jake! So ARSO made a mistake and said AUTO instead of SEMI-AUTO. So what? We all know what he meant to say. I don't have the answer for him. If you do then let him know what weight bullet to use.
Have you seen "The Passion of The Christ Yet"? I suggest you do.

A lot of .308 guns with a 1 in 10 twist will deliver optimal accuracy with bullets in the 150-168gr range. Your results may vary, every gun will prefer a different loading, the challenge is finding that loading. Good luck.

    PS-Try some 168gr Sierra Match-Kings, I've had good luck with those[:I]

PSS: Yo Jake_S-83, there's usually only 10 replies allowed to a topic in the Experts Forum, don't waste 'em

the 1:10 twist will ahndle pills up to 240gr. That is the reason I had my 1000yd light gun built with that twist. You will find some superb accuracy with the 168gr match king (as King Joey stated). You will also find that long range groups are excellent with the 168 and 178gr Hornady a-max,....but the length of these may not be agreeable with your semi-auto. Depending on the throat,..you may not be able to load them to reach the lands and still have them feed from the magazine. Most VLD type bullets like to be either AT or INTO the lands for optimum accuracy.

The match king will allow a little better seating depth lee-way,...as they have an ogive and not a secant dresign. Trial and error!! Try some 190gr match kings and some 180-190gr bergers as well.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?
