Hi-cap mags to Calif.

Is it illegal to ship high capacity pre-ban mags to Calif? It's my understanding it is. I've had a Nevada resident who is visiting CA for the next several months inquire. He doesn't think it's illegal since he doesn't live there. Sounds illegal from what I been able to find, regardless. Thanks in advance for your responses.

  From what I've been able to find out, it is illegal to ship hi-caps to Kalifornia, unless it is going to another dealer or to someone with a high capacity magazine permit.... or I may be getting this permit requirement confused with Massachutes...
  
  Either way, it is illegal to ship hi-caps to an individual in Kalifornia....

  Thanks! Everyting I read on this forum indicated it is illegal. Someone also said they were glad they live in Texas and I'll second that; at least for now.

  You cannot ship high capacity mags to the Republic of California.
