The Fiala was a manually operated, magazine fed repeating pistol that came onto the market shortly after World War I.

Although they were sold in cased sets with extra barrels and a attachable shoulder stock, there not normally found complete at this late date.

The Fiala was only on the market for a short period of time before the name was changed ( which I have forgotten? ).

Ultimately this same pistol was produced by the Hartford Arms Company, circa 1929.

Since the Colt Woodsman dates from 1915, the Fiala was obsolete technology wise since it was first put into production. How the same basic pistol stayed in production for 12 years is a mystery?
