If your idea of self-defense is fire and flee (live to fight another day)....either would work although higher cap on glock gives you more to work with (obvious).
If you are the dirty harry type and want to stand and fight, the 9mm gives you alot more power (+p+ would be my choice).
I like glocks but .32 and .380 are alot easier to carry.

You might check out the Kel-tec P3AT's also. They are .380 acp so have more power than the .32 but they are very light weight. I have ordered a Glock 29 for carry, but I'm going to get the 11 oz Kel-tec for my all-the-time carry gun when nothing else will work.

i'd go with thg glock. its more powerful. who cares if a gun is easier to carry you want something that can do the job when it counts.

Also take a look at the Keltec 9mm P11. A lot more concealable and lighter than the Block, I mean Glock, if you want a major power cartridge in a minimum package. It has a real transferrable lifetime guarantee.
The Keltec 9mm and the smaller P3AT 380 need the optional Bursa style mag extensions to deal with their high power to size & weight ratios. I've got one of each as well as a G19 and other full size 9mms.

Look at the Kahr 9P. As small as the Walther PPK functions like a Glock. Fires the 9mm round. [8D]

In Oklahoma, the CCW rules specifically states that the weapon must be hidden from detection - meaning that if someone can "print" it on your body then it's not legal according to the CCW rules. I'd rather have something on me ALL the time than just carry an optimal gun when I can conceal it. (thus my 2 gun strategy).

I too have been looking seriously at the Seecamp .32

I have a HK .40 USP compact and little Taurus 605 .357 revolver that I can use for CCW under usual circumstances, bigger things if I'm expecting WW III, but I don't have something that I can ALWAYS TOTALLY conceal no matter how I'm dressed, who I'm with, etc.

What you might not have noticed, though, is that Seecamp now makes a .380. It's supposed to be about the same size as the .32, which is easily concealed, but it's a slightly better round. The .32 is recommended for use only with Winchester Silvertip ammo, but the .380 I've heard is ok with both Silvertip and hydroshock ammo. They seem pretty scarce and very expensive, $800+ but I would probably get one if I could. My stupid state doesn't allow me to get one, but maybe you can. Here's one:

I posted a thread earlier on the feasibility of using a seecamp .32 for defense and got lots of interesting responses. It might interest you:

I'd suggest to go with the larger caliber. Whatever you choose, if the day comes you ever really need it, you'll be wishing you had a 155mm Howitzer anyhow.

Thanks for this great feedback. I too live in CA so the Seecamp .38 is out.

I didn't know the point about the Seecamp 32 only accepting silvertips, that's a disadvantage. I've been leaning toward the Seecamp because I like the size, but now I'm having second thoughts.

I started looking at the Kahr P9 again and I'm reconsidering that option. Its about in between the glock and seecamp size wise, but accepts the 9mm round. I haven't picked one up or shot it, but I like the way it looks.

In the other post Contenderman made a reference about Kahrs and moonies - does anyone know what that means?

Both are fine firearms and would serve well for CCW. The final decision for me would be based on firing both. Due to the small size, the one that feels comfortable in you hands should be one of the final factors considered.
