Any experience with the FAB 10 receiver, which enables a Californian to build a rifle like an AR-15 but without detachable mag?

  If your talking about the ones that you open up shotgun style to load, yes they are legal. I seen them at the vagas shot show. You could build a great rifle out of one but your still going to get hasseled when ever the cops see it. They still don't know the difference.
