rolling block carbine

my dad left me a little gun collection and one of the pieces is a rolling block carbine,looks like .50 caliber. It has a saddle ring on the side.Can anyone give me a clue as to when it was made or what it might be worth. I'm going to sell it on gunbroker along with a couple of other guns he had.
