is this gun on the batf curio and relic list? dated 1945..just sold this gun and buyer has a c/r...thanks for your help...tom

  I've got the list, but not handy. Call one of ATF's field offices and ask to be sure. Should not be a problem, as it's well over the 50 year old mark that generally makes things C&Rs.

  There is a blanket C&R classification (which has been in effect for decades) for all original military bolt action and semiautomatic rifles produced between 1899 and 1946 as well as marked and identified military handguns (pistols and revolvers) produced during the same time frame.
