Kool, that was quick! Thanks. And I guess that explaines why I can't remove the clip. [:I]

    Thanks again for the help!

Since your Steyr-Hahn pistol is 89 years old, and appears to have been refinished/reworked at least once, you might consider giving it a well deserved retirement, rather then shooting it.

These Steyr-Hahn, Model 1912 pistols have a very serious design flaw, that has caused injuries in the past. The firing pin is only retained in the slide by a protrusion on the bottom of the extractor. This extractor is made of hardened steel and is subject to fracture.

In the past, when this has occurred, horrible injuries have resulted from the unrestrained firing pin.

Thanks for the warning! My dad was a large collector, and he recently lost his battle with colon cancer. We are now just in the process of valuing these for his estate. We are keeping some, but are selling most of his collection. I wish we could keep them all, but his wife needs the money.

I'll be asking more questions on a few more guns, and then will be done bothering all of you wonderful people.
