High Standard .22
My Father In-Law gave me a High Standard .22 9 shot pistol. The ejector does not spring back when pushed, so I thought it had a broken return spring. I took it apart and there was no spring. So I thought maybe the spring broke and somebody removed it and put it back together. So I ordered the parts from Numerich. I believe it was a spring, a bushing and a snap ring. I took it apart and could find no way that these parts fit in. Looking at the schematic I am putting them in order. I had my brother look at it and a friend who both are very good with the mechanics of firearms and they both scratched their heads and said Hmmm. I cannot seem to find a groove where the snap ring snaps into. Could it be that some of these models were manufactured without return springs?

The early models DIDN'T have a return spring. Gunpartscorp takes parts back as long as 30 days hasn't elapsed. Get your money back.
