SIG 232 Grips to a SIG 230?
I was just checking out SIG's site (www.sigarms.com) and loking at their P232.
The one they show under handguns -> classic personal (http://www.sigarms.com/products/classic-personal.asp) shows a P232 with the finger cutouts. My father-in-law (soon to be) has a SIG P230 (German). We were curious if those grips are interchangable between models?
Most of the P232's I've seen listed on gunbroker.com don't have those grips. So another question is, are they a SIG factory option?
Sorry if this seems a little lame. I'm fairly new to handguns and trying to learn as I go.
Thanks.

If memory serves, Sig says the only difference in the 232 & 230 is the grips and the safety lever (I think). They should be interchangeable.

You are correct. He called SIG today. The 232 grips will fit the 230,but 230 grips won't fit the 232.
