Hembrug 1916 ?
hi, Im looking for info on a rifle that was left to me by a relative.Its a Hembrug 1916 ,I was told it takes 6.5 Dutch ammo ,Its a bolt action and I think it takes a stipper clip which is missing and its missing the cleaning rod I think ,anyone know wher to get a stipper clip and cleaning rod ? Did these ever have a scope or bayonet ? I know thers places to get 6.5 dutch ammo .

Chances are, that you have the Model 1895 Rifle. It had a Mannlicher type action that required a loaded clip in the rifle to function as a repeater, i.e. if you don't have clip, it's only a single shot rifle.
On the fore arm of the rifle just below the muzzle, there is a horizontally projecting bar. This is where the hilt of the bayonet is attached.
Never heard of a original scoped, Dutch Mannlicher MILITARY rifle. Anything is possible though?
