25-36 Marlin
Does anyone know if there is a safe cross compatible caliber that can be shot in my 25-36 Marlin. Thanks

I had a M93 in this caliber and loaded my own rounds, forming the brass from .30 WCF.
I DO NOT ADVISE YOU TO DO THIS, but Cartridges of the World says: ". . . the .25-35 can be fired in the slightly longer .25-36 chamber." Most of my references are packed, so I cannot comment on the dimensional differences, but I will note that much erroneous data has been found in CotW over the years & I would *not* trust this reference without *independent* confirmation from a more reliable source! The .25-35 is also obsolete, so finding this ammo will also be difficult, although easier than finding .25-36.
My strong recommendation is that you use the correct ammo, even if it necessitates paying a custom loader to make it for you. MUCH better safe than sorry. Truly "cross compatible" calibers are fairly rare and found mostly in revolver cartridges.
