I favor the bushmaster. $100.00 more is a choice you will have to make. [8D]

I agree with all above bushmaster[:D]

    Thomas Jefferson, of Virginia:
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms. . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

It has been my experience that the ArmaLite usually cost a little more than a Bushmaster. To me it is a toss up between these two companies, with ArmaLite rifles having a small edge over Bushmaster rifles. ArmaLites usually have a tighter fit between the upper and lower receivers than do Bushmasters. If you can afford the difference go with ArmaLite, if not then go with a Bushmaster. I have both, and they both make fine AR clones. You will be pleased either way you go.

BTW, the type of shoooting you anticipate doing will determine the route you want to take. If you are looking for a 'plain jane' shooter, then go with Bushmaster and save your money. If you are going for match competition shooting, then go with an ArmaLite M15A2 National Match Rifle or a Bushmaster DCM Competition Rifle. These units will cost about the same. ArmaLite has a Limited Lifetime warranty, Bushmaster has a Limited 1 year warranty.

If the ArmaLite cost less than the Bushmaster, then by all means go with the ArmaLite. A better value indeed!

I forgot, make certain that is a ArmaLite and not an Eagle Arms rifle. Eagle Arms do cost less, but are still good rifles.
