The ones from Brazil any one know anything about them?
18 inch barrels wood stocks.

  Not highly regarded. Probably not unsafe, but not exactly something that you'll proudly pass on to your grandkids.

  Had one. 26" barrels, functioned fine, kicked like a mule. Somehow the geometry of the stock seems to enhance recoil. Wood on these must be something like Brazilian cottonwood. Saw one guys forearm flyoff in pieces, however they did warrantee it. A better buy is to find a nice Stevens or Savage for about the same money. Much better made.
