Korean M2 .30-06 ammo question, Mark Christian
I just got my GCA Journal today. There's some pics and an article about Korean ammo cases seperating. I noticed in the pics the ammo is stamped with P8 and 75, the stampings being at 12 and 6 o'clock.
I have some of that ammo that's stamped differently. It's stamped with a K, then an A, then a 7, then a 2, at 12,3,6, and 9 o'clock. I haven't shot any of it yet, and may not.
My question is this. Is all Korean ammo subject to seperating like this, or is it just certain lot numbers?
As usual, thanks in advance for all who help.

I can't address your question, but perhaps the good people at www.battlerifles.com can. Good luck with your query. 0 -
Turban, thanks for the link. I found the answer in there. It seems the PS 75 stamped brass is the only ones having trouble with cases splitting. (I thought the PS was a P8 in my original post. The S looked like an 8)
I tried registering with them to post on that board too. I got a reply that said 'invalid_session.' I didn't see a contact email. Can you help me with that?
Thanks,
James
