H&R Mod. 949 question

Can anyone tell me if I can shoot .22 shorts in a 949? I saw a listing in blue book of gun values that stated the "fourty-niner" shoots shorts, long, and lr. My gun only says .22 lr. Thanks for any help.

  You can shoot LR, Longs, Shorts, CB Cap and Bird Shot if you want too.
