thanks for the information so far, here is all that is in the gun,,left side has remi9ngton rand inc syracuse n.y. usa, and by the trigger guard is stamped F.J.A, AND A (L) TO THE OUT SIDE OF THE TRIGGER GUARD,where you release the clip is the letter(p) samped in.. on the right side is united states property no. 2429355 and m1991 a1 u.s. army. there is like a circle also witha f in it,t the circle has little like squares around it!and a triangle, if u understand,,,the circle is right behind where the metal pistol grip goes up,

  Hi, I replied to your previous post. On the right side of the frame it should be stamped 1911A1, not 1991A1. The other markings you describe are correct for this gun.
