make a single shot?

If a talented person with the right tools wanted to make a
single shot rifle from an old single breakover shotgun
and a used rifle barrel say from a Remington or winchester
bolt action what would be the procedure?
I have a good idea but I need input so I can get more ideas that may work better than mine.
I just have the parts and the want to I need more knowledge.

  It would be very difficult to give you instructions as to how to build a single shot rifle on a bulletin board/forum. It's just not that simple. Besides, it would make anyone that gave the instructions, liable in an extremely litigious society. But, all of the members here want to help in most any way that they can. In that spirit, use the link below and order the books on building single shot rifles and do some reading first. Then decide if you still want to continue. It may sound like a fairly simple concept but I think that you'll find that there is a lot more to it than you see initially.
