  They are everywhere. Fair prices are about $290 to $320.

  Check the auctions here there are some good deals around.I paid $300.00 for mine new in box w/1-10 round mag,3-30 round mags,cleaning kit,sling and scope mount.I have loved it ever since.Good cheap rifles.

  Haven't seen anything near $290 (including FFL transfer fees, shipping, etc.)--and I've been looking recently thinking about getting another one.
  
  Some of the earlier imported SAR's were "rougher" looking; if buying online you might want to ask the dealer the year it was imported--I think--from discussions on the board here--it was the imports after 2000, that looked a whole lot better.

  also if your looking for a certain color stock you want to ask the dealer if it is the plum colored one or the redish one
