CCW permit process

i live in the great commonwealth of Pensylvania and am concidering getting my CCW permit but i do not know how to go about getting it, can anyone help me get started?

    Call the County Courthouse. If I still lived in Upper Darby, for instance, I could get information at the County level, at Media, the County Seat.

    I'm believe they bounce you over to County Sheriff's Department.

    Being a California resident, if I had a CCW, I can apply to any "Office of Sheriff" at any of the PA County courthouses through PA's reciprocity program, most going through Centre County in Bellefonte.

    Reciprocity of CCW is not permitted within the CA CCW statutes, BTW (if you have a PA, you can't send in $19 and automatically get a 4 year CA licence.)
