Any States Issue Non-Resident Concealed Carry Perm
Are there any states that issue a concealed carry permit for non-residents? If so, any info on details (cost, paperwork, forms, procedures, etc). Thanks for any help

Florida is the biggie here. It is recognized by more states than most any other state's, and has had a long standing policy of issuing outstate permits. About $200.
Since you come from Kansas, which doesn't issue permits at all, Texas will also issue you one.
Here in Minnesota, we give outstate permits, but not by mail. You have to come up to apply. About $100, plus training requirements.
Once you have any permit, New Hampshire will also issue one of theirs. This can give you more states with reciprocity, and it's cheap, about $20.
Unfortuantely for you, Kansas recongizes no other state's permits.
Hope this helps.
For more info, www.packing.org , mentioned above, is indeed a great place.

Just applied for a NH one, it was 20.00 and you can get the link from Packing.org
I measured it and cut it twice, and it's still too short!0 -
Nevada issues them. Mostly to Californians who feel the need to carry when they are here for a day or two to gamble in the casinos.[:D]
And you do have to be here for a two day training, and apply in person at the local sherrifs office.
I believe its about $100 for the class and $116 for the permit. Then you have to wait 4-6months for processing (they have to clear you with the feds) before you get the actual card.
be safe,
