I can not comment on there .22. I do know that the 9mm. .45acp and the 10mm are fantastic. The EAA and the CZ are clones. my 2 cents [8D]

If you're talking about the IZH-35, it's an olympic class gun that normally runs around $375-450. The stock grips are pretty crappy, and the finish isn't great, but it's a solid design. Walther spiffs them up, slaps good grips on them and charges $1000. $269.00 is a steal! If you're not going to buy it, please let me know where you found it for this price.

I own a EAA witness 9mm that shoots beautifully. I would hope that there .22 would provide as much quality. However since EAA isn't exactly known to be the best .22 handgun manufacture, you may want to consider a ruger mk II pistol. They are some of the most famous .22 pistols out there and the accuracy is great as well as the price. You should find one for more than 300 bucks.

    Anyway...

FYI, a lot of people on here don't know WTH they're talking about. 1st, technically, EAA doesn't manufacture a single gun, they're just an importer for foreign manufacturers. They mainly import Tanfoglio firearms that are made in Italy as their Witness line. The Izh-35 along with all their Izh line shotguns are made in Russia. As these two companies have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with each other's manufacturing processes, you can't rationally say, "The Witness sucks, so their target .22s suck," or make any other similar comparison.
And for the poster above, the Ruger Mk.II isn't a bad gun, but out of the box, even their target model cannot hope to compare to the Izh-35. For an illuminating illustration of this, think...when was the last time you saw a Ruger Mk.II in Olympic competition??? The sad fact is, maybe after you dump everything but the lower grip frame and send it off to Volquartsen with a bag full of money, you will get something that might come CLOSE to being competitive with serious .22 target pistols like the Izh-35, the Walther GSP, the Pardini SP, the Hammerli SP20, etc.

Sorry to be so blunt, but sometimes the magnitude of ignorance displayed on this board is shocking. And if you're one of the ignorant, hey, no offense...you just didn't know any better on this point and it's a learning experience. Y'all probably know a heck of a lot more than me about most other guns. I'm totally ignorant of just about anything involving shotguns, etc.

On the other hand, if you DO decide to go with the Ruger Mk.II, PLEASE let me know where I can buy that Izh-35.

By the way the Mk II was a suggestion for being great bang for the buck as far as accuracy...not the best ever was. Calm down
