24th ed of Blue Book shows 98% as $260. To me this is about $90 low for this area. IMHO $350 is not unreasonable for any N-frame (even a 28) in excellent condition. The 28 is nothing but a 27 without all of the spit and polish or bells and whistles.

I think it depends on the dash . if it is a "27", without a dash number like 3 or some other number , to me its worth more . the books don't rank them this way however .Standard Catalog of Smith & wesson says , nib 375,
    exc. 250 , vg 200 , Guild Lines only.

Does the barrel lenght have anything to do with value? I guess what I was wondering is if a four or six inch is worth more?
