I am tring to get a value on a NB Davis & Sons Double Barrell Shotgun. I think the gun is antique but have no idea the year, I cant find any numbers on the gun. Any information will be helpful.

    Utility/Survival gun also produced by Garcia at a slightly earlier date (as I remember).

    Worth what you can get for its utility, but not by any means a collector's item. I've seen folks that needed one of these guns who were willing to part with $100.00, but I'd guess on any given day you'd be very lucky to get $50.00... Or even an offer.

    I collect these types of unusual 22's and 410's.

    If you would like to phone me (you have mail) I'll give you some background and also have a printout about the different models. Would have to mail it to you since it won't scan and print very good.

    As nord mentioned, there's only a few of us it seems who are interested in these types. I've paid anywhere from $60 to $160 for NIB.

    There's also a 22 LR, a 22 magnum version and a 22/410. Actually with four different mfgs. over the short time span they were made.

    I am desperately seeking a "used" version of the 22/410 O/U BTW!
