Glock 26
Just bought a brand new Glock 26, first Glock and no one I know owns one. What is the best ammo to shoot out of it and anythings to watch out for (besides it being plastic [:D])? Any help would be great.

Jacketed bullets only not plain lead. Other than that it should eat all varieties in copious amounts.

Kid..... I have a 26. Its a very nice shooter and surprisingly accurate for such a short barrel.
As mentioned, Glock suggests jacketed ammo in all their pistols, and its a good idea. They function more reliably with it. I have 6 9mm Glocks, 4 model 17's, one m-19 and one m-26 and they all seem to like Win 115gr FMJ 9mm. It is very cheap at Walmart about 11 bucks for 100rnds.
For cleaning, use a metal bronze brush. It cleans much better than the plastic brush furnished with the gun.
Oh, they are not plastic. The frame is made of "polymer" material. Much stronger and resistant to chemicals than "plastic". You will be very happy with your new gun.
