Help with old shotgun?
I have an old double barrel 12 ga. shotgun that i need help with. On the top of the left barrel it says "ANIMO" EIBAR. On the top of the right barrel it says Made in Spain.I belive it was made in 1976 (12-76 on the inside of the reciever). It's has some wierd symbols under the fore grip (where the barrel meets the reciever). Could you tell me more about this gun and where I can find a fore grip for it? This is about the sweetest shooting shotgun I've ever shot and with the fore grip brooke[:(], I can not shoot it right now. It took me about 8 years to talk a very good friend out of it, and am looking forward to many more years of fun shooting with it. Thanks for your time and any information you can share with me about this.[:D]

"Eibar" is the name of a city in Northern Spain, that was the center of the Spanish commercial firearms industry.
Can't find any record of any manufacture with the name "ANIMO".
You might have some luck by doing some research, using this link.
