Star Progressive Reloader

Does anyone know the value of a Star Progressive Reloader in very good condition? It is the Universal progressive model which has 2 tool heads for 45's and for 38's. There is also a case feeder and extra powder bars. Thanks

  It's one of those pieces of equipment you just have to find the right buyer for.They are one tough piece of equipment, and in their day were very expensive.I have a friend who has three of them. He had two of them for years and sold guns & loaded ammo for sale with the Stars.But they are hard to find parts for if something breaks,and if you use them long enough something will.--My friend thinks they are they greatest machine ever built,but I've seen him have alot of problems with them over the years.I personally prefer some of the modern machines that you can just pick up the phone and get repair parts, caliber conversions, etc. for.--He thinks his are worth a fortune, but the third one he has I picked up for him at a gun show from an older fellow that had it for years. It was set up to reload 38 Special wad cutters and was complete. I paid him $125.00 for it.He said he had bought himself a Dillon.-- That was two years ago.......for whatever it's worth, my two cents............[8D]
