Mossberg 9200 Question
I am thinking of buying a Mossberg 9200 from a private owner for $230 plus shipping and FFL transfer. The gun is in good condition as far as I can see from the photos. Is there anyone out there who can tell me if these models have any issues? Am I getting a good deal for the money in your opinion? I have asked a friend who has only fired one a few times and he said is made springy noises and he just didn't feel it was a solid firearm.
Any help is appreciated. I used the search and did not findugh information there.
Thanks, John

I am with Rusty1 on this, The gun does have a weak recoil spring
i had to change mine about a year ago. Still a good gun and worth
about $230 IMO. But after the shipping and FFL fees it is NOT.

The best thing about mine, is that Mossberg has rebuilt it any time I have had trouble with it for free. You don't get that with a used one. You should be able to find a used 1100 remington for another $100 or so.

Thanks for the help. I was sort of curious why an autoloading shotgun would sell for under $300 unless it was not a good model to buy. I guess I will have to re-think my purchase decision.
Thanks again, John0
