Kimber 45's
What is the difference between the older Kimber 1911 style 45's and the newer Kimber II series?

sounds like a question for kimberkid...i think it has something to do with the firing pin block safety but as i said kimberkid will probl be able to tell ya for sure

Starting in 2001 Kimber began converting their pistols to their new "Kimber Firing Pin Safety System" and after Feb. of 2002 all Kimbers were Series II
