Mossberg NO. 4 scope

Ya i had a response to a question that i posted a couple of days ago about a mossberg NO. 4 scope. The answer was helpful, however i am wondering about a little more history/information about one. I was wondering if this scope ever had anything to do with Lee Enfield rifles. The scope dates from 1939 and is in 90% condition. More history and information would be nice as well as the pricing of what one of these averages from. I certainly don't want to buy something for $50 dollars just to find out it is worth $10. As i am a beginning Enfield collector the No. 4 grabbed my attention, so any help would be nice. thanks

    No relationship between Mossy #4 scope and Lee-Enfield. On the other hand, $50 is not unreasonable for a NICE Mossy scope. They have become quite collectable in recent years.

    [:D] [:D] Ck out ebay under mossberg they always have a few listed ,you can then compare the going price for the same model/condition ..if the bidder is a newbee ,disregard the price they go nuts. the scopes have doubled in price in the last yr. or so, [;)]
