an easy one for the experts
This should be a simple fix . I have a Winchester Model 1300 Defender, pump shot gun i keep it on a shelf in the bedroom. Anyways it fell off a couple weeks ago ,and something must have broke inside, because now it will no longer chamber the next round. I fire, pump, and it fires fine then ejects the spent shell but the next round stays in the tubular magazine fairly tight. Anyone know whats wrong? thanks alot TIM

Yep, sounds like a simple fix alright.
List the thing for auction as a tinkerer's special, get rid of the shelf you knocked it off of, and getcha a Mossy that will live on the floor next to your bed.
OR
disassemble, stuff a hardwood dowel into the mag tube and hammer out the ding that's keeping the shell stop from getting out of the way.

First thing to look for is a dent in the mag tube..It may be tiny..look down its length like sighting down a barrel...If it's an internal problem, I bow to the superior knowledge on this board..good luck..

yep, sounds like a bent mag tube to me.

Could be a chipped shell interrupter too.
