How do i know which version of the gun i have? 30-06 from 1971i think

    does it have the bottom metat or "floorplate"? does it have the black forend? if so,..it's a BDL.

    If no floorplate and no black forend,..then I would say probably an ADL or Classic.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    It's either a BDL(hinged floorplate, black forend tip on stock) or an ADL (top loading only....no floorplate and no difference in stock finish at forend). They did not make "Classics,or Mountain Rifles" back then. GHD
