CCW Holsters
What CCW Holster do you like for compact 1911's? Springfield Armory Ultra compact to be specific. Being that we finally passed our carry legislation here in Ohio this is new to us.

If you have enough room for an IWB (I don't, to much me IWB) I would suggest the Galco Royal Guard http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?ProductID=2513&GunID=39 I personally would/will wear either a minamalist style like http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?ProductID=1239&GunID=39 so that when I go somewhere where carry is prohibited I can secure the gun not have to disrobe to get off the holster and no one recognizes it as a holster. Most all of the manufacturers make styles that are virtually the same, just happened to have the Galco site on favorites.

I don't carry that size piece, but feel most comfortable with a L.H. IWB at my back for right draw. You get used to moving it without scrutiny when necessary. 0 -
Take a look at Alessi Holsters. I have about six of them. My favorite model in particular, is the CQC/S. You can find them at www.rfholsters.com Look for the link to Alessi Holsters.
I'm clear, you're clear, everybody's clear...SHOCK!!!0 -
I like either the SOB sytle or the Fobus paddle. Can take the Fobus and use it on either side and it stays put.
