Left handed Mauser T/F?
Hey Guys,
I have been working on restoring some guns. My current project is a 93 spanish mauser in .308. I heard a rumor from a self appointed "expert" at work that surplus mauser actions can be made to left handed actions. True or False?

It's been done, but unless you can recut the receiver and bolt lugs (and than re-harden the receiver lugs), the bolt will need to turn in the same direction it does now. There was a ingenious LH gear drive system posted on AR about 6 mo ago along with photos (bolt turned in the normal direction, when the left side mounted handle was lifted). 
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.0
