Stevens 416
I have one with the X barrel, and one that says Ranger. Any info on the difference would help. Just bought them, wondering which is the better barrel.

I have a Stevens 416 and was wondering if anyone has found a good trigger that will fit the rifle..
I do have some adjustment on the trigger It did have a lot of side play,
but I fixed that with a little welding.
I would like a lighter trigger..0 -
If your rifles were actual Stevens Model 416, in very good condition they would bring $150-200. As "branded" or "hardware" guns in the same condition they will bring at least 25% less.
If they are in good shape you probably have a couple good "shooters" but that's about it ... there is essentially no collector interest in "branded/hardware" guns.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
Stevens made the 416 as a military trainer also. If yours happens to be one of those with the U.S. mark you have alot more value than just $150-$200. Usually marked back by the rear sight. Very accurate .22. 0
