Need Info On Old Walther .22 Rifle
I have this old Walther .22lr semi-auto that I have no idea what model it is or worth. It has a 24.5" round heavy barrel, has sling swivel on buttstock and as well as attached to the barrel, long blade front sight, 200meter adj. rear sight, 5 shot clip, on the left side of barrel near the rec. it says Kal.22 Lang Fur Buchsen, on right side of barrel it has Eagle N proof mark. Also has Eagle N proof on right side of rec. The rec. also has a groove on top for tip-off scope rings, On top of rec. it says Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thur) and has Walther banner. The bolt has a bolt handle and it has a lever safety on the rear of the rec. The buttplate has the Walther banner on it also. The stock is wood with finger grooves on both sides of the forend and the pistolgrip has checkering on it and a round knob. What is this gun worth and what do they call it? When was it made? Thanks for any help!

Very interesting rifle you have there. "Model 2, Rim-Fire, Self-Loading, Sporting Rifle".
Low production, pre W W II manufacture. Since yours has "Eagle N" proofs it was made at the very tail end of the production cycle after 1939.
These never were made in great quanity, doubt if many survived the war and the subsequent division of Germany. Hard to put a price on something like this?
