Hello skyliner (and welcome to the forum),

There are no serial number listings available to date the "Retail store" made Winchester rifles & carbines. Value for them runs about 50% of what the same "Winchester" marked firearm would retail for. So, in my estimation, your Sears Model 54 is worth about $150.

    Welcome.

Per the gunparts cross reference Sears marketed this as their Model 54 and the manufacturer was Winchester with the NM94 as the parent.

As mentioned above w/o serial number info. the year of mfg. can't be traced, especially with "branded" guns like this one. However, it can't be any older than 1964 as that is the year the NM94 went into production ... and it can't be any newer than the year that Sears stopped selling guns ... which for the life of me I can't recall, but maybe one of the other members can help us w/ that info. then you won't have an exact year, but you will have a date range, which should help you.

Value ... NM94's are running $175 to $250+ so a reasonable estimate would be for you to take at least 25% off of that range.

    Hope this helps.
