J.P.SAUER+SOHN pistol?

Can any body give me info on a pistol. Markings are J.P. SAUER+Sohn 19728/2 on one side of barrel and Texas Marshall .22 caliber on the otherside, also Hawes firearms co. Los Angeles.California on the frame.Where it was made, age,value. Thanks in advance.
