You need .32 ACP. It is available at most any gunshop.

They made them in .32 and .380. If you are unable to determine caliber, just take to the GUNSHOP with you.

Anything that you can buy over the counter except +p (or greater) should be okay.

    Wonderful litle weapons.

Could have some corrosion from some ammo back in the ole' days. Might try some Blue Wonder on the bore, I thought I had pitting in my old Mauser barrel and it was just fouled really bad. Squeky clean now. Used it on another Mauser barrel and it still looked like a sewer pipe[:D]

That little Colt pistol will eat any .32acp ammo you feed it!

I even use Wolf in mine from time to time. Just clean it throughly afterwards.

They are like the Energizer bunny, they keep firing and firing......

I think you'll find that the rifleing in the old 1903 Colts tends to favor lead bullets. That was my experience anyway. You might look into lapping the barrel to polish out some of the pits. You can slug the bore and handload lubricated lead bullets in low pressure low velocity. Thats what I'd do. Would be time consuming, stress relieving, and fun.

Another sweetie from the fertile brain of John M. Browing.

As kingjoey says, I'd try cleaning the bore with Blue Wonder. Shoot some standard .32ACP in it. If the bore is really bad, you can get a replacement barrel from GunPartsCorp. http://www.e-gunparts.com/products.asp?chrMasterModel=0660zPOCKET 32 HAMMERLESS&MC=
